I've been thinking about it for some time and finally did it. My pup journals on lj are closing down and I am not paying for any more accounts. They will be rebooted into Insane Journal with at least two getting a complete overhaul.
Pup status as they stand:
Breacan. Pb: Orlando Bloom. Location: Currently - Hell. Occupation: Sea Captain. Poseidon's Captain of the Guard.
James Audr. Pb: Brad Pitt. Location: Currently - Hell. Occupation: Currently - Thorn in Brighid's side.
Fionnuala: (Overhaul in history) Pb: Catherine Zeta-Jones. Location: Santa Monica, Los Angeles. Occupation: Paranormal romance novelist. (was a jeweller)
Eothian: (Overhaul in history) Location: Currently - Hell. Occupation: Fantasy/Fairy Artist and Illustrator. (was a photographer) Pb: Johnny Depp (mostly using his younger images).
I have yet to do a ij for Audr. Will probably get to that today. underthisstone
And, if Breacan Pb was Val Kilmer, I have just recycled all my pups from ten year ago either in personality or Pb. *Sigh*. Don't think any of these changes will help the 'block' I am experiencing.
Also just noticed newspage had the question of: Are these Australia's sexiest men? And Eric Bana was featured.
And it's hot here. At three am. Whinge. Whinge. Whinge.

For some reason I get to a certain point with rping out relationships and stall. It runs along alright for a while at the beginning then when it all falls into place I am just "WTF do I do now?"
This has happened with nearly EVERY relationship (Platontic or sexual) one of my pups have had with another. And usually by this point the other mun has wander off with their pup to chase after someone new - either because it's too much drama IC and/or OOC. I just don't know how to keep that beyond point interesting and less drama-ish.
And also, my pups get to this point, and sabotage all the beginning effort with their own b.s. Which adds to making rping out relationships difficult, boring because who wants a pup saying: "Yes/No" all the time. And me thinking I should put up a neon sign on my pups for others warning them to not get invovled.
But over all? The fun is seeing who clicks. Who doesnt. And struggling through to MAKE it work. I just for once, would like for my pups to get past others and mine 'Honeymoon' stage and see if a good, strong, relationship can go on even with pup b.s. (and sometimes mun b.s too).
Because relationships just isn't about sex, drama, and leaving. Oh. Wait. Soap Operas. But the point is can my pups have a 'happy' ever after, with other pups? And how do I make it interesting beyond the 'Honeymoon' stage.

What is happening in my neck of the woods. -Polymer clay creations. -Drawing. -Crazy Quilting. -Charm Bracelet creations.
-Thoughts of feathers. Birds. Owls. Magpies. Mushrooms. Gnomes. Trees. Rolling hills. ------------------ Muses: -Fin. Location: L.A. She went to a mirror and applied lipstick, subtle eye shadow, darker blush, to suit her outfit. Her clothes and makeup done for attitude. She pouted her carefully applied lipstick mouth and made her expression blank, cool, haughty. This was a woman who knew which men she wanted to dive for and how to get them. -Breacan. Location: Hell. " I frequently see the old man [Eothian] coming round. His face covered in grime, blood, muck, and soot, making him appear black as a pair of riding boots. A dirty soiled sweat rag around his neck, exhaustion in his eyes, yet always a grin on his face. Each night to boost moral he does a turn perfoming - and is always applauded." -Eothian. Location: Hell. "At first the enemy had not the slightest idea where the death-dealing sniper arrows came. Often Breacan end up bagging three or four in under a minute and the enemy would blaze furiously, trying to find him in a loophole a few hundred yards away..." -Audr. Location: Hell. "The rotten part of the whole damn thing is we came in on the first day, only to see bodies rotting in their thousands. The 'air', was bloody dreadful with the stench of death in it. Nothing could cleanse the smell from the nostrils for a fortnight afterwards."

(Interesting how the mermaid looks a bit like Liv Tyler?)

-I brought a couple of books off of ebay for next to nothing dollars. I am hoping ONE of those books will spark up muse interest again.
-I added two design elements to the tulip cross-stitch motifs I am doing and it visually added interest and made the stitching less boring.
-With drawing, and stitching, I know which direction to take myself. I have thought about this for a long time, and had interest in it longer. Time to do something about it.
-Fin is about to get a re-boot. I am putting her in L.A instead of New York. Which would suit her music background. Later on I am thinking I might make her get a spot in a soap opera which will launch an acting career.
-I have this insane tempting idea to create a female Immortal with the PB of Kirsten Dunst whose first death was in Marie Antoinette's era (obviously not a beheading). She was trained by...James Audr. Tell me: NOOOOOOOOOO.
-Muses are all quiet-ish. Imagine five muses lounging about on floors, couches, just doing nothing. Some drinking. Some playing solitaire. Others sleeping. That's what they are all doing.
Today there will be: Shopping I didn't get to do yesterday. Writing. And, the continuing cheering a certain cancer free person on. You know who you are.

- Fooling around with fabric postcards.
- Cross stitching. Stupid thing is boring to stitch so far.
- Can't deciede if the below drawing should be painted only, or collaged.
- Writing Fin's story: Up to five thousand words so far. Note I said words. Not words that make sense. And I can't believe she did that.
- Breacan apparently is A: Will be protecting Poseidon's wife's Mermaids under her orders. (Let just say we all know who wears the trousers in Poseidon's marriage). Need to write that up yet. B: Returning to Georges Bank off the Gulf of Maine to work on fishing boats out at sea. Also says to be closer to Clotho.
-Shopping maybe today.

Very much what Eothian is about. The performer. The carer. The goof. The serious. And just a little bit too sexy.

I had an e-disccussion about dinosaurs of rpland. And, I realised to stop being that I'm going to have to learn to 'play' again like a child.
It's kind of hard though when there are more than enough busy-bodies telling you: 'Sit up straight'. Don't pick your nose. Stop playing in the dirt. Don't color out side the lines. Stop throwing tantrums - go to your room. YOU'RE GROUNDED. Learn your 'ABC's.
So I guess e-playing as a child isn't really acceptable. But I do mean approach it with a sense of 'play' like kids do. But it is so stale and old it's hard to find child-like interest in it again. I do know I could do more playing off-line see if I can cultivate something of enough interest in playing with pens and imagery to build up something of to put online. Kind of like what I do with my personal journal.
But yup rp blahs as usual. Not aimed at no one. Just an overall blah-ness, it'll probably pass.

What I am doing:
Playing with craft- Working on a couple of fabric collages. This type of work leads it self to what I have already being doing in crazy quilting. I am, as, usual doing everything by hand.
Thinking about needlepoint.
Making little polymer clay magpies.
Cross stitching an allover repeat using some of my tulip motifs.
On pup news:
Thinking about the hell verse. What goes on. I know someone is not going to come back out.
Working on a minimovie using the original idea for Fin and making it how I wanted. New song. Never thought this one would work. I remember roller skating to this song in the late seventies....
Trying to keep up on rp tags. I seem to be forgetting one or the other, even though I have only three currently going and have notifies.
Writing Fin's story.
Pup emotional level:
Breacan: >:[
Eothian: :O
Audr: :D!
Fin: >:)
And that is that.

I don’t want to be a bad mediocre anything anymore. I want to find something I am good at and do it beyond the bad amateur stage I am always in.
And, look what I finally figured out to do \0/!

The character Peloquin has always reminded me of the goblin form of Hawken. Here's a snippet from the movie Nightbreed and one of my fav movie quotes:

I am pretty much done with the comm using a certain word limit. The stupidity level reached it's peak with me. It reached it's peak with my muses ages back. Just I am slower at learning things.
If players can respond to my pups in a comm, they can do the same in my pups journals (which are often updated for that very reason.) That's where they will be playing.

Some days it gets too stupid even for me.
Blergh.
And I just seen my pups paid accounts are all about to expire. I can't be arsed to repay them. I am in two minds about moving them all over to insanejournal. I am not sure about comms I can put them into on IJ but paying more money in lj when it rarely gives me interest and most of the time when I am posting for my pups I just use the default icon. It is such a huge waste of money.

Had a go at making an altered bottle. Sort of works, as something finished. At least the playing is helping me get over the idea everything has to be perfect. Which usually stops me doing anything at all.
It is one step up to making those altered tins.
I'm thinking that the idea of Mix Media may be something worth following. Looking at my craft stash does lead itself to going with the idea.
Rp wise I have:
One pup giving some interest. Two who I am pretty sure won't be out of retirement. One who needs something to challenge them. And another who is more active in my head than online and also needs an rp challenge.
The last two pups are pretty jaded and cynical. They've already figured other characters out about a dozen posts in and are about as interested in them, as watching wet paint dry, there after. I don't know how to stop them from doing this because it kills my drive to continue rping comments.
Apart from that nothing much else.
