I am going through my stash, sorting, trying to get like things with like things -laces with laces, beads with beads and so on.

And there is a lot of it. Unlike my books I have no intention to get rid of it, even if the amount over whelms me alot. This stuff has seen me through some pretty hard, lean, emotional times. I have always made something in this time, even if it was small.

While there are days where it does overwhelm me with the sheer amount of the stuff, there are days too when it disgusts me. I am an over consumer, this stuff is years old and STILL in packets and I am still buying. I suppose this is my vice. I don't drink. Don't smoke. Don't gamble. Hate clothes shopping (unless I am buying a brooch which I love to buy). And have makeup that I use to wear when I was in my twenties.

The picture below this stuff ALL came out of a 5 litre plastic container, just one of many I have in my craft cupboard. Needless to say it probably isn't a surprise to know why I have taken to crazy quilting like a duck to water. Evertyhing in the image reflects that.
