Old house - In the town I was born. Forty years on it's still there in the same street my aunt lives in. She's been in the same house for over thirty and it pretty much looks like this house. I remember walking to her house as a kid and past the old house to go into 'town' to buy 1 cent lollies. We used to have a $1 for pocket money and thought we were rich. Times havent changed much for me. I still think $1 is a lot of money and my 'lollies' are now thrift store goodies brought for as little as $1.
Laces - from thrift stores.
Brooches - paste one from my father's mother, another from thrifting.
Cards - from various people around the world when I was doing crazy quilt swaps and writing to penpals.
The round picture- From my aunt mentioned above. I remember this picture and another when I was a kid. She give it to me because she knows I like bird things. The bird is an Australian bird called a 'Fairy Wren' (can see why I like them and the fact it is actually blue has me sold on them).
Sachet is a handmade one from thrift store threads and material. The pattern from a 50c book from where else...the thrift store.
